Carm’s Classic Book Club

Join us for Carm’s Kids Book Club, a version of our Carm’s Classics Club made just for kids ages 6 – 12! This meeting we solve a mystery with Ellen Raskin’s The Westing Game!
A bizarre chain of events begins when sixteen unlikely people gather for the reading of Samuel W. Westing’s will. And though no one knows why the eccentric, game-loving millionaire has chosen a virtual stranger – and a possible murderer – to inherit his vast fortune, one thing is for sure: Sam Westing may be dead… but that won’t stop him from playing one last game!
Carm’s Kids Book Club is open to kids ages 6 – 12 and their parents. All participants will receive a copy of The Westing Game that they may keep. This is a hybrid program. You can join us in person or virtually through Zoom.
Space is limited. Registration is required to receive a copy of the book and the Zoom link. This program is brought to you by the generous funding of the Friends of C.H. Booth Library.
