Hacking for Endangered Species

September 25 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

3 hour virtual coding program for girls and boys (4-8th grade) with Code.org’s App Lab and Zoom.

There are about 2 million different species on Earth. The data suggests the growing number of endangered species by year is nothing to scoff at. It shows that between 0.01–0.1% of all species are lost annually — that’s about 200 to 2,000 extinctions every year.

Join with Random Hacks of Kindness Junior and Friends of Animals to design and create apps addressing the rise of endangered species and ways to help slow it down. Experience first hand how you can use technology to create positive change.
