Labor Day Tractor Parade

September 6 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

On Labor Day (Monday 9/6), head to Edmond Town Hall to participate in the town’s second annual “Reverse Parade”. Local Residents who own tractors are invited to come to Edmond Town Hall and participate in this parade in lieu of Newtown’s Annual Labor Day Parade. The community can stop by (or drive by) any time from 9AM – 10:30AM, stroll Main Street, see the tractors, and even climb on a few for photos.

At 10:30AM, the tractors will take off from Edmond Town Hall and follow the traditional parade route (south on Main, left onto Glover, left onto Queen Street, and right onto Church Hill Road).

Rob Emmerthal, event organizer, shared this year will also benefit local non-profit Hope on Main Street. This non-profit aims to raise HOPE and donations in the fight against cancer. If you plan to attend, please consider making a donation. FUN FACT: Rob’s tractor has pulled Hope on Main’s float in past parades.

If the weather does not decide to cooperate, please check the Newtown Neighbors Unite Facebook page on Sunday 9/5. Any cancellations will also be shared on Newtown Moms’ Instagram and Facebook Stories.
