Painting Spring Flowers
April 28 @ 2:15 pm - 3:15 pm
An event every week that begins at 2:15 pm on Wednesday, repeating until April 28, 2021
In this beginner level class, Mrs. Ferriter will go over the basic steps needed to set up a canvas and create an acrylic painting. Using spring flowers as a focus of study, students will learn how to balance a composition and use tints and shades to create a three dimensional shape. At the conclusion of the series, we will be selecting some of the finished paintings for a “Spring Art Exhibit,” that will hang in the Library’s Gathering Room (paintings will be returned to the artist at the conclusion of the show). Registration is required and masks are a must. For kids ages 6-9.
