Sometimes referred to as “winged rainbows”, butterflies have always captured the heart with their graceful beauty and stunning colors. Now, you can re-create their natural splendor, celebrating these gorgeous creatures in your own unique and inspiring way through the sanctuary’s first ever watercolor workshop. Join beloved artist, ShawnaLee, in drawing and painting native butterflies. No experience necessary as each step of the process will be explained and demonstrated. Classes will be held indoors, warming your soul while bringing reminders of warm summer days surrounded by your favorite pollinators. By the end of the three-day program, you’ll “fly” away with several practice studies and your own personal painting.
Art supplies will be provided for use during workshop sessions. As a courtesy, an art supply list will be sent to all participants who may want to purchase their own brushes or supplies to foster their new hobby.
