Yule Film Fest

Yule Film Fest is a holiday-inspired short film festival that takes place online, founded in our wonderful year of 2020. Independent filmmaker Donn Weber and Hartford Film Club met with several venues in the Hartford, Connecticut area, ultimately to have COVID-19 shut down the idea across the board. Then in late October 2020, Donn was able to establish an online film festival with FilmFreeway and BingeWave (great platforms!), and ultimately Yule Film Fest was born! It had to be unique, it had to be different, and realistically it had to be fully online with awards and film screenings taking place all at once. On Monday, December 21st, 2020, Yule Film Fest premiered and found enough success to set up a future. We adapt, painfully or positively we do honestly adapt. Yule Film Fest is a showcase of holiday and unique short films that screen and are awarded in one swoop. It will be weird, unique, and beautiful.
