Where to Watch Fireworks this Fourth of July Weekend - Newtown Moms

Nothing says summer quite like gathering with family, spreading out a blanket, and watching fireworks light up the night sky. If you’re looking for the best places to celebrate Independence Day, we’ve rounded up some of the biggest fireworks displays happening near Newtown this Fourth of July weekend.

Friday, July 3

Fairfield

Location: Jennings Beach & Penfield Beach

Celebrate the holiday with one of Fairfield County’s most popular fireworks displays. Bring your beach chairs, enjoy the waterfront, and settle in for an unforgettable evening.

Norwalk

Location: Calf Pasture Beach

Norwalk’s annual Independence Day celebration returns with live entertainment, food vendors, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks show over Long Island Sound.

Weston

Location: Weston Middle School

Enjoy an evening filled with food trucks, music, family activities, and fireworks. This community celebration is always a favorite for local families.

Saturday, July 4

New Canaan

Location: Waveny Park

Spend the evening at beautiful Waveny Park with live entertainment, food, and one of the area’s most scenic fireworks displays.

Location: Bayley Beach

Looking for a classic shoreline Fourth of July? Rowayton offers live music, family fun, and fireworks over the water for a memorable holiday celebration.

Quassy Amusement Park

Location: Middlebury

Make it a full day of family fun with rides, Splash Away Bay Waterpark, games, and food before ending the evening with fireworks over the lake.
