Best Spots to Get a Glimpse of the Fall Colors | Newtown Moms

A few weeks ago, I read an article about how the drought and its affect on when fall foliage will hit its peak in Connecticut this year. Surprisingly (or maybe not), leaves will begin to turn color earlier this year. Right now, DEEP is estimating leaves will start changing around 9/21, with peak happening around 10/3 in northwestern parts of Connecticut. The rest of the state is expected to peak around Halloween weekend. For the full article click here.
