Like me, I’m sure many of you have been inundated with online ads, mailers, and even phone calls with Tuesday’s upcoming election. Unfortunately when I see ads, I’m not always able to look into the candidates and better understand their positions on issues that are important to me. (I’m sure a lot of parents can relate!) So with that being said, I wanted to write a quick post outlining general voting information, as well who is on this year’s ballot in Connecticut.
This is my family’s first year voting in Newtown. Since Newtown is large town, I wasn’t sure where I need to show up to cast my vote. No matter where you live in Connecticut, you can look up your polling location here.
