Yesterday afternoon, the decision to cancel Halloween on Main Street was communicated to Newtown residents via a town-wide email, as well as an article in this week’s Newtown Bee. Although it’s another disappoint this year, it is completely understandable and the best course of action given the crowds Halloween on Main draws. Regardless of whether or not you planned to Trick-or-Treat on Main Street this year, there are still many activities happening that allow for social distancing and CDC recommendations.
