Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to try a new brand called Made Of. I absolutely love trying new products and I was very interested in this brand because of their organic first positioning. I, like I’m sure many of you, have spent countless hours researching and trying different “better for you” products. As moms, I think we’re inundated with a lot of information on safe products for our babes and the choices aren’t always crystal clear. At times, I’ve felt that certain brands haven’t truly delivered on the promise of being organic or in some cases even worked well.
This was definitely not my experience with Made Of. Let me start by sharing a bit about the brand.
Made Of is for the millions of parents out there who are unhappy with the current selection of “natural brands”. This brand is made to be simple, organic-first, and ultimately transparent. The products are vegan, gluten-free, non-gmo, and tested by pediatricians and dermatologists. Watch this video to learn a bit more about their story.
I was lucky enough to be given four different products to try on my daughter. I want to add my daughter is an extremely fair, blue eyed, redhead with the type of sensitive skin you can just imagine, so a lot of my comments are about how non-irritating the products we tried are. Let’s start with what we tried first:
Diapers: The diapers are amazing! The fact they are just plain white was one of the parts I loved most. They also include the pee indicator strip, which I have not found in the other organic diaper brand we have tried in the past. These diapers hold up really well with an active toddler. She slept in the diapers (both nap time and bedtime), without having any leak issues. The diapers did not irritate her at all.

Diaper Rash Cream: We use cream with just about every diaper change. Although she didn’t have a diaper rash during the time we used the Made Of product, I did find the cream worked just as well as the other brands we generally use. Although I’m hopefully, we’ll be out of the diaper phase soon, I will definitely be purchasing this cream again.
Lotion: We’ve been sharing the lotion since we first got it. I’m actually loving it for my hands! It’s non-greasy and absorbs really fast. Like me, my daughter gets dry skin, especially during the colder months. This product has been helping us keep her dry skin at bay. If I had to pick a favorite out of the four products we tried, the lotion would be it!
Foaming Wash & Shampoo: This is another great product from the brand. It lathers and rinses really well. It definitely does not sting my daughters eyes like some of the other natural brands have.
