If you’re heading out to the store today to grab some more groceries & essentials, consider the fact that some have changed their hours or are offering special services in light of the COVID-19 measures. Here’s an updated list:
Caraluzzi’s: 8AM to 8PM with special hours for seniors 65+ to shop from 7AM to 8AM.
Big Y: 8AM to 8PM with special hours for seniors 60+ from 7AM to 8AM. Now limiting the number of people allowed in the store. Closed on Sunday 4/12 (Easter) & Monday 4/13.
Stop & Shop: 7:30AM to 8PM with special hours for seniors of 6AM to 7:30AM. Now limiting the number of people allowed in the store.
Whole Foods: No changes to store hours. Hot bars, salad bars, & self-serve pizza are temporarily suspended. All workers are receiving an extra $2/hour. Seniors are now invited to begin shopping one hour before the store opens to the public. Stores will also close up to two hours earlier than normal in order to give staff the time to restock, sanitize, and rest in preparation for the next day. Click here for all updates.
Trader Joe’s: 9AM to 7PM
Stew Leonard’s: No change to hours as of 3/16.
Specialty Grocery Stores
BD Provisions: 11AM to 5PM with curbside pick-up. Simply call the store, someone will prepare what you need (with gloves on!), and deliver it to your car. Follow their social media pages for latest updates.
Butcher’s Best Country Market: Open and now offering curbside pick-up. Call the store and someone will prepare your order. Follow their Facebook page for the latest updates on hours.
UK Gourmet: Open for business and offering curbside delivery. Check Facebook page for updates, including earlier hours.
Chamomille Natural Foods: Open normal business hours.
Target: All stores will close by 9PM. The first hour the store is open every Wednesday will be dedicated to seniors & other guests with underlying medical conditions. Click here for Target’s corporate messages.
