In the winter, ice skating is pretty high up on the bucket list of family activities. There are some great locations for public skating. Scroll down for info on each!
Due to the rather warm winter, Newtown is currently lacking options for outdoor ice skating. In year’s past, Parks & Rec has set up a temporary rink in Fairfield Hills and I have seen people skating on the pond over in Ram’s Pasture. Unfortunately, there have been few options locally this winter. If you’re up for a bit of a drive, Westport & Stamford have two great outdoor rinks. Check out those details below.
