Ricci’s Salon & Hero Barbershop Celebrate 70 Years in Business! | Newtown Moms

Ricci’s Salon is quickly approaching its 70th year in business! If you’re not familiar with this long-standing, well-known family business right on Route 25 in Newtown, read below to learn about all that is happening at 99 South Main Street.

Ricci’s Salon opened up in 1951 and has served the community ever since. Now owned and operated by Dan Riccio, Ricci’s offers salon & spa services focusing on you. The goal when you step into the chair at Ricci’s is to leave with a new look that makes you feel re-energized, revitalized, and refreshed. Services include haircuts, color, shampoo/blow drys, hair treatments, and more. Check out below or visit Instagram for examples of on-trend haircuts & color.

In 2005, Dan extended his business by creating Hero Barbering. At Hero, men can experience the vintage barbershop vibe with haircuts, personal grooming, hot shaves, and hot towel service. The barbershop also offers flat screen TV’s for watching sports, a wide selection of magazines, and beer or a beverage while you wait.

Both businesses only hire graduates from their top rated schools (Ricci’s Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy) in order to ensure a consistent & high quality experience for all customers.

Ricci’s Salon & Hero for Men is located at 99 South Main Street, Newtown. Visit Ricci’s and Hero on the web to schedule your appointment! This month, new customers at Ricci’s will receive a complimentary L’Oreal Power Dose Regenerating Conditioning Treatment ($30 value) and new customers at Hero will save 20% off the first haircut and 30% on any retail items.
