St. Patrick’s Day Craft Ideas | Newtown Moms

Just because a ton of events have been cancelled this weekend, doesn’t mean you can’t still make St. Patrick’s Day fun at home. Here are a few easy craft ideas courtesy of Pinterest to try this weekend. I’ve made sure the ideas below are easily made out of things most people have around their homes.

Make Your Own Leprechaun Trap: All you need is construction paper, scissors, glue, and creativity to make a leprechaun trap like the one pictured here. Yes, you can buy this on Etsy, but why not create your own?

Paper Plate Rainbows: Grab a few paper plates, cut out the center of the plate & the bottom. Then let your kids decorate the rainbow. This ideas, as well as 32 other ideas can be found here

I am Lucky Four Leaf Clover: I’m loving this idea for older kids! Create a four leaf clover and then ask your child to think of four things that make them a “lucky” person.

Shamrock Man: Another idea that requires construction paper, glue, and scissors. As the post says, it’s easy, inexpensive, and fun to create.

Free Printables: Why not search Pinterest for printable? Linked here is one example of a color by number. Great way for kids to practice numbers & colors.

Any other ideas? Please feel free to share by emailing [email protected]. Happy creating!
