With 14 years of maternal–child health experience, Strong as a Mother’s founder brings unmatched clinical and real-life expertise to every appointment. As an RN, IBCLC, labor and delivery nurse, childbirth educator, lactation counselor, doula, and mother of three, she offers well-rounded, deeply informed care grounded in evidence and empathy.

Community Support
Strong as a Mother is also passionate about building community and access to care. She hosts a free breastfeeding support group every other Tuesday from 10–11 AM at Trinity Church of Newtown. The group is open to all breastfeeding, pumping, and combo-feeding parents—and babies, of course.
Class Offerings
Strong as a Mother, LLC offers an on-demand library of prenatal education classes, including baby care basics, breastfeeding and pumping essentials, and comprehensive childbirth preparation. They also provide individualized prenatal and postpartum lactation consultations—available in person, virtually, or in-home—as well as private birth-preparation sessions.

A full overview of labor, birth, and immediate postpartum so families feel confident heading into delivery. -
Breastmilk Pumping & Storing Class
Covers pump selection, creating a pumping routine, returning to work, and safe milk storage and handling. -
Breastfeeding Basics Class
Foundational education on latch, positioning, milk production, feeding cues, troubleshooting, and early new parent questions. -
Baby Care Basics Class
A perfect introduction to newborn care, including soothing, diapering, bathing, sleep basics, and practical tips for the early weeks.
She is in network with Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare, offers bundled self-pay packages, and provides 50% off all consultations for families with Medicaid or Tricare.
