Summer Reading Programs | Newtown Moms

As parents it can be challenging to keep your child reading all summer long, practicing those skills he or she has mastered during the school year. Local libraries are wonderful resources during the summer to motivate your child to continue to read. Here’s a list of the Summer Reading Challenges and Events our local libraries are offering this summer:

C.H. Booth Library

Danbury Library

This year’s Summer Reading Challenge is open to all readers, children – adults. Earn 1 ticket for each book read (or read to). Enter to win raffle prizes. Details here.
Summer Reading kick-off party happens on 6/17 at the library.

Bethel Library

Readers can track their progress through the Beanstalk App. The more badges you unlock, the more prizes you earn! Details here.
