Here are some of the highlights of what’s happening in Newtown/Danbury and beyond during the last weekend of February.
Friday
On Friday, Newtown Moms will host a Mom Meet up at Main Street Adventures in Newtown. Moms from Newtown and all of the neighboring towns are welcome to join. The event starts at 10AM and you will be able to play for two hours for the price of one. We’ll also have coffee from BD Provisions and bagels from Bagel Delight. Please RSVP here.
Friday story times will happen at the Danbury, Bethel, Brookfield, and New Milford Libraries. Check out our calendar for all the details.
The Toy Room in Bethel is hosting a Game Night beginning at 6:30PM. This event is for ages 12+. Click here for details.
Saturday
If you enjoy a good pilates class (I know I sure do), head to The Willows of Danbury Massage and Wellness Center. For $16, you can join their Saturday morning Inferno pilates class. RSVP required.
This is the last weekend of the Winter Farmers Market at Benedict Home and Garden in Monroe. Hours are 10AM – 2PM.

Create Escape Studio, in Danbury is hosting a a “Tween Night” from 6PM – 9PM. This event is for kids ages 8 – 13 and for $30, they will make a canvas painting and have fun while snacking on pizza. Details are here.
Sunday
Newtown Youth Academy is hosting a workshop at 1PM on Sunday called “Beat the Sugar Blues”. Kim Rio will be there to discuss ways to combat sugar cravings. Kidzcare will also be available during that time. This event is open to non-members as well.
At 3PM, kids can meet The Frog Princess at Kidz Club in the Danbury Fair Mall. Details here.
