If you haven’t gotten your Christmas tree yet, here’s a list of local places and their hours for the 2019 season. So whether you plan to cut your own or purchase a pre-cut tree, this list has you covered.
Paproski’s Tree Farm
5 Hattertown Road, Newtown
Opens Friday 11/29 and will be open 9AM to 5PM on the weekends. You can pick up your tree during the week, but it’s by appointment only. Both cut your own and pre-cut trees are available. Hot cider and cookies are available on the weekends.
Sam’s Tree Farm
138 Huntington Road, Newtown
Opens on Friday 11/29. Hours are 9AM to 4:30PM.
Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire Department
18-20 Riverside Road, Sandy Hook
As part of their holiday fundraiser, Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire Department will be selling fresh cut Balsam and Fraser trees, along with pine roping, wreaths, kissing balls, and cemetery boxes. Open all weekend and every weeknight through Christmas Eve.
Windswept Tree Farm
12 Evergreen Lane, New Milford
Opens at 9:30AM on 11/29. After opening day, the farm opens on Fridays at 1PM and Saturday & Sundays at 9:30AM for the season.
Jones Family Farms
555 Walnut Tree Hill Road, Shelton
Opens the weekend before Thanksgiving 12/23. Hours are 9AM to 5:30PM daily. Pick your own and pre-cut are available.
Maple Row Tree Farm
229 Stepney Road, Easton
Open 11/29 through 12/23 daily from 9:30AM to 4:30PM.
Sabia Tree Farm
772 Morehouse Road, Easton
Open 11/29 10AM to 5PM, and then weekends through Christmas 9AM – 5PM.
99 Federal Road, Danbury
Fresh cut trees delivered daily through Christmas. Open during regular store hours.
95 Stony Hill Road, Bethel
Pre-cut trees available. Open daily 9AM – 6PM. Santa visits every Saturday & Sunday through Christmas from 12PM – 3PM.
