With a shorter than normal holiday season this year, Santa arrived in many places before Thanksgiving. (If you can even believe it!). Here’s a list of where you can snap that annual picture of your child with Santa – from the mall to breakfast with Santas to other ideas.

The Danbury Fair Mall
Santa will be at the Mall’s Center Court through 12/24. Cost varies depending on number of photos purchased. Hour are as follows:
December 1-7:
SUN December 1: 11am – 7pm
MON-SAT: 10am – 8pm

December 8-23:
SUN December 8, 15 & 22: 10am – 8pm
MON-SAT: 9am – 9pm

December 24:
TUES: 9am – 6pm

 

Hollandia Garden & Nurseries
Santa & Mrs. Claus visit the location on Stony Hill Road from 12PM to 3PM every Saturday & Sunday through 12/22.

 

Danbury Railway Museum
Visit Santa’s rail yard on Saturday December 7th, 14th, or 21st from 10AM – 4PM or Sunday December 8th, 15th or 22nd from 12PM to 4PM. $12 per person for ages 2 and up.

 

Santa in Sandy Hook Village (Sunday 12/15)
Visit Santa from 12PM to 3PM at 1 Riverside Road. This is a FREE event, however donations to the Heritage Trail Project are appreciated.

 

Santa at Chartrer Oak Brewing Company (Sunday 12/15)
Santa Claus will be in the taproom from 12PM to 2PM with cookies & hot cocoa.

 

Breakfasts with Santa

Stew Leonard’s
Enjoy breakfast with Santa on the following dates: Saturday December 7th, 14th, or 21st and Sunday December 8th, 15th or 22nd. Cost is $12.99 for those under 11 and $14.99 for all others. Two seatings at 8:30AM and 10AM.

Newtown Parks & Recreation
This annual breakfast put on by the Newtown Rotary Club and Newtown Parks and Rec will take place on Saturday 12/7 from 7PM to 12PM at the Newtown Community Center. Adults are $8 per person and kids under 10 are $4. There’s an option to take a photo with Santa for $10.

 

Beardsley Zoo
Get in the holiday spirit with breakfast at the Zoo! Join Frosty, Santa, and all their friends. Tickets are $25 for non-members and $20 for members. Breakfast will run on 12/7, 12/8, 12/14, 12/15, 12/21, & 12/22 demo 8:30AM to 10AM.

 

Santa Visits on the Fire Truck

Both Dodingtown Fire Department (Newtown) and the Brookfield Fire Department offer residents the opportunity to sign up to have Santa visit their home on a firetruck. Both accept donations based on number of families being visited.
