2023 Holiday Decorating Trends

Mariane points out selecting holiday decor can be overwhelming at times given all the different styles, colors, and decor pieces offered. Whether you stick with traditional colors (red and green) or opt for a more unique Christmas color palette (think pink trees), she shares three Christmas trends that will stand the test of time.

Distressed Vintage Ornaments:

Ornaments that have a slightly distressed look are all the rave. They were a huge hit last year and the trend continues this year. There are multiple color variations of this distressed look and DIYing your own color combo has become a popular way to achieve this look.

Minimalist Christmas Decor

As the old adage says, ‘less is more.’ This is especially true when it comes to holiday decor. Simple trees with just the lights, or understated but sleek decor pieces placed on a mantle or console table will make a statement all on their own. Creating a minimalist look is perfect for both large and small spaces and also creates a modern aesthetic.

Touch of Black

When you think of holiday decorating, the traditional colors of red, green, and gold may be the first colors that come to mind. But have you ever considered adding a touch of black? Touches of black holiday accent pieces add a beautiful and elegant touch to any space.
