Apple picking is one of my favorite activities during the fall. And with many orchards close by, we often find ourselves going multiple times during the fall season. Here are some of our favorite ways to use up all of those apples.

Apple “Donuts” (idea courtesy of Toddler Time Activities)

  • This is an idea perfect for kids of all ages and very easy to put together for snacks. Here’s what you’ll need:
    • Cut apples into donut shapes by slicing and removing the center
    • Spoon Greek yogurt into a bowl and mix in a little food coloring to create the “frosting”
    • Let your child decorate the donut with the “frosting” and some festive fall sprinkles
