UPDATED 3/18/2021 – Tomorrow, March 19th, restaurants are able to return to 100% capacity per Governor Lamont. However, this does not mean all restrictions are lifted – tables will still be spaces 6 feet apart, masks are required when not at your table, and restaurants need to stop serving by 11.
UPDATED 12/6/20 – As we head into the colder months, our local restaurants need our support now more than ever. With capacity restrictions now at 25% and many not comfortable with dining in during the recent spikes in COVID cases, consider take-out as a way to still enjoy your favorite local eats at home. The below list has been updated and will include links directly to each restaurants website. Before ordering, please be sure to check the restaurant’s website and/or social pages.
UPDATED 3/22/20 – Newtown residents have started a Facebook group focused on supporting restaurants in town. Here is the link to join. Even if you’re not planning on getting take-out or a gift card, consider liking or sharing their posts on social media.
