Did you know that there is a screening that can be done before a concussion to help doctors in the event your child suffers an injury? The New England Institute for Neurology and Headache can do baseline testing to get a clear outline of a child’s abilities and skill sets prior to a brain injury. Then, in the event of an injury, before and after results of the same test can be used to help with things like treatment plans, prognosis and potential academic accommodations.
